SANTIAGO — After the cancellation of his visit to the International Comic Fair Santiago (FIC) in April this year, Marvel Comics fans and hopeful comic book artists were left waiting for Marvel Comics’ talent scout Chester Cebulski to visit Chile. Now their dreams will come true.
CB Cebulski is vice president of creative development of Marvel Comics and currently travels the world in search of new comic talent as a talent scout. This mission is bringing him to Chile in August for the ExpoComic 2013.
Those attending ExpoComic 2013 will get more than just the opportunity to meet Cebulski. More than 20 artists will show off their work at the expo, from Argentine Pablo Martinera (Prince William and Kate Middleton) and Max Fiumara (Daredevil, Hulk, Thor) to national artists like Claudio Huenchumil, Juan Vasquez and Daniela Thiers.
The ExpoComic 2013 is set to be an imagination-catching convention of comics, manga (Japanese cartoons) and illustration.
It will be held on 9, 10 and 11 August at the Costanera Center Mall, located at Avenida Andres Bello #2425, Providence. More information here: www.expocomic.cl
